Dr. Scott Thorne is a Wyoming native, earning his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Colorado State University in May 2004. His veterinary experience has been gained while practicing small animal medicine in Pennsylvania and Wyoming, with an interest in internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. He joined the team at All Creatures Veterinary Hospital in 2011. Scott’s wife, Christine, is not only a full time mother, but also is employed part time as a physical therapist at Wyoming Medical Center. They are blessed to have three beautiful daughters, Madeline Kayo (2005), Katie Grace (2010), and Sydney Ryan (2012). Over the past nine years, Casper has truly become a home to the family acquiring several close friends that have become like a second family. The family attends Casper Alliance Church and they are active in its Bible study small groups. Scott plays hockey with the Casper Storm Hockey club. Scott has also recently become an official for USS Swimming. Scott and Christine are committed to providing their girls with many opportunities to experience, from church youth groups, camping, hiking, fishing, ice skating, bowling, swimming and more as they grow. The family has two cats, Baxter and Mollie. Dr. Thorne is excited to provide veterinary care to the Casper community.
Dr. Sarah Schoonover grew up in Gillette and completed her pre-veterinary courses at the University of Wyoming where she played on the Women’s Rugby Team for 3 years. She went on to Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine to receive her DVM. Sarah graduated May of 2013 and then joined All Creatures Veterinary Hospital as an Associate Veterinarian. She is very passionate about animals and enjoys relating to owners through the love of their pets. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, painting and outdoor activities with her son Silas, daughter Layla, husband Ryan and Great Dane Hank.
