**Not a paid nor requested review** I first came to All Aboard Animal Hospital looking for sedated grooming for my 12-lb Maltipoo. He has always been a happy, playful, and energetic dog, but had recently become increasingly anxious and resistant to handling, even with the groomer he had known since puppyhood. After he began growling and nipping, I no longer felt comfortable putting his groomer in that position and ultimately decided sedated grooming was the safest option. During my first consultation, I immediately noticed a difference in how the veterinary technician handled my dog compared to other clinics. She used protective gloves and securely wrapped him in a blanket, allowing Dr. McAllister to safely examine him despite his growling. When I picked him up after his grooming, a different technician handled him just as well, and I noticed his muzzle had been properly secured. Having previously seen my dog poorly restrained elsewhere, this gave me peace of mind knowing the staff understood how to safely handle him while protecting themselves. My experiences with the front desk receptionists are also noteworthy. They manage patients and phone calls efficiently, and every interaction has been pleasant and professional. I have also noticed how smoothly the schedule flows—the waiting room is never overcrowded, and patients do not appear to be crammed into the schedule or excessively double-booked. My experience with Dr. McAllister has been equally positive. His demeanor is calm, grounded, logical, and experienced. My dog’s previous veterinarian had recommended neutering as a solution to his behavioral issues, despite him not displaying typical intact-male behaviors such as mounting, roaming, or lunging. I have no issue with neutering; I was simply concerned it might not address the actual cause. I appreciated Dr. McAllister’s honesty in explaining that behavioral issues are not always resolved quickly and his recommendation that I consult a veterinary behavior specialist rather than offering a quick “fix” that could potentially make things better—or worse. What I really appreciated about Dr. McAllister is his directness and transparency about my dogs health. Many veterinarians and their staff are overly perky, preppy, and enthusiastic for my taste-- mainly because it riles up my dog. But also because I just do not know how to respond or react to those types of animal lovers. It was refreshing meeting Dr. McAllister and his team- people that care about animals but are still professional. My trust in Dr. McAllister grew when he discovered a staph infection on my dog’s inner thigh that was missed by other veterinarians, which was promptly treated. I also recently brought him back for a professional dental cleaning under anesthesia. He recovered quickly from both procedures, and I have noticed an improvement in his overall attitude, appearance, and well-being. The services provided to my dog were reasonably priced and, in my opinion, well worth the quality of care he received. My experience with Dr. McAllister & his staff has given me a newfound respect and appreciation for veterinary medicine. I will continue bringing my dog to All Aboard Animal Hospital and I recommend the practice to pet owners seeking the services mentioned above or simply looking for a professional, attentive, and well-run veterinary team.

The most incredible staff. So knowledgeable and sweet. They really really care about the pets and take time to explain everything that is going on with them and what we can do. Dr. Kaplin is an incredible person we’re so lucky to have her here taking care of our pets

Irene at front desk is awesome and has given me so much guidance in helping me with my puppies. Dr. Kaplan is wonderful. She is knowledgeable, patient (I have a million questions which she answers) nonjudgmental (I have 4 dogs all with distinct personalities and different needs}. She includes me in decision making and prioritizing the important things for my fur babies and is not out to oversell you. Could not be happier as I feel my 14 year old and my puppies are in good hands

I have a kitten and took him to vet first time. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Great crew and nice Dr. Still using same Dr. and staff are quite friendly
